Davey Lopes Diagnosed With Cancer

Davey Lopes who is currently on the Philadelphia Phillies coaching staff has been diagnosed with Prostate cancer. Lopes spent the majority of his 16 year playing career with the Dodgers and was the first base coach for the Padres both before and after his stint as the manager of the Milwaukee Brewers. Lopes has also coached with the Washington Nationals in recent years. Davey Lopes is one of baseball's true gentlemen and FF wish him a full and speedy recovery.
